This week we are celebrating four fantastic years of the N&N Trailer Café @nnhc_cafennuh - a much-loved hub for staff, patients and visitors.
Since opening in 2022, the team at Norfolk Cafés Ltd, led by Carl Mann, has helped raise an incredible £177,000 for Norfolk & Norwich Hospitals Charity, with 10% of every purchase helping to fund projects that make a real difference for patients, families and staff across our hospitals.
From barista-made coffee and homemade cakes to fresh sandwiches, soups and daily specials, the café has become a valued part of the hospital community. Alongside the CDC Café, which opened in 2025, it continues to combine great food with an even greater purpose.
Charity Director Rachel Backshall said: “We are incredibly grateful to Carl and the whole Norfolk Cafés team for their unwavering support over the past four years.
“Raising £177,000 is a remarkable achievement and every penny has helped us fund projects that enhance patient care, support our staff and improve experiences across our hospitals. They are wonderful partners and we are proud to celebrate this milestone with them.”
