The NHS is wonderful, but they can only fund essential services, infrastructure and core clinical care. Thanks to your donations, our charity provides everything we can beyond what he NHS can do – improving treatment through innovation and making hospital stays more comfortable for patients and their visitors.

Patients with cancer and those receiving palliative care are benefitting from relaxing therapies including massage, aromatherapy and reiki.
We’ve provided additional café spaces at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital, Cromer & District Hospital, and at the Community Diagnostic Centre. These cafés have increased the space and choice that’s available for patients, visitors and staff.
Our Volunteer Driver Scheme has two vehicles and a dedicated team who help patients to get home from hospital and settled in safely. Our Volunteer Inpatient Co-ordinator looks after the ward-based volunteers and therapeutic care volunteers, making a real difference for patients while they are in hospital.
With your support, we’ve created beautiful spaces within the hospitals. In the Boudicca Breast Unit, we installed artwork as part of the creation of a one-stop-shop for breast cancer patients. In the Colney Centre, the patient-facing areas have been updated, including improved furniture in the waiting area.
We understand how difficult it can be when you or a loved one need the hospital. We do everything we can to make that time better, and it’s all possible thanks to the amazing support of our community – in Norfolk and beyond. We only exist for you, and because of you.
